We thank you for your enquiry dated June 15th and enclose our quotation for various canned food.

As you may know, we have been manufacturing canned food since 1950 and the technology of the manufacture is already quite mature. Our products always enjoy a good reputation in many countries. Recently our company and our products have also passed the ISO22000 Food Safety Management System and ISO9001 Quality Management System and got ISO14001EMS Certificate, which lead to an increasing demand for our products and we find it difficult to meet. Please note that payment is to be made by confirmed, irrevocable documentary L/C at sight established in our favor.

Goods are ready for shipment and please open the L/C as soon as possible. If you can not open the L/C on time, the losses caused by the delay will be borne by you.

3. 我方通常的做法是凭即期付款交单而不是信用证。因此,我方希望你对这笔交易和今后交易也接受这一付款方式。

Our usual practice to do business is payment by D/P at sight instead of L/C. Therefore, we should like you to accept this payment method for this transaction and future ones.

4. 鉴于这笔交易金额甚微,我方接受你方以即期付款交单方式付款的要求。你方必须理解,这一让步不能作为先例,以后仍按我方跟单信用证的付款方式支付。

In view of the small amount of this transaction, we accept your request for payment by D/P at sight. But it is to be understood that this concession should not be regarded as a precedent, and for subsequent transactions, our documentary L/C payment method should be applied.

5. 收到你方第111号信用证,经审核,我们发现该证要求最迟装运期为2010年.

We have received your L/C No. 111, but on checking its clauses we find that the latest date of shipment required by your L/C is the end of June, 2010.

6. 根据2010年6月12日签证的合同(合同号333),装运期为7月。因此,请务必将装运期和信用证有效期分别延展至2010年7月31日和8月15日。

According to the contract signed on June 12th, 2010 (Contract No.333), the shipment date is July. Therefore, it is imperative for you to extend the shipment date to July 31st, 2010 and the expiry date of the L/C to August 15th.

The clocks we export are packed in one box of one clock, 100 boxes to a carton lined with waterproof and moisture-proof plastic sheets.

The shipping space in “SS Shanghai” has been booked for the above mentioned order, which is estimated to sail on July 5th.

Goods are ready for shipment for quite some time but the L/C has not yet arrived so we can not effect shipment as stipulated.

右抵达我港。

We regret that the above mentioned goods can not be delivered at your request on the first ten-day period of August because the direct ship to Antwerp calls on our port only on about 20th each month.

Please inform us of your premium rate and we’d like to thank you in advance.

一、课程性质

《商务英语写作》是商务英语专业的专业核心课程,旨在培养学生英语五项技能中的英语写作能力。此课程涵盖了商务英语基本写作类型、写作规范、写作格式和写作方法,课程内容与现实商务生活紧密结合,既提供各种实例,又设计了一体化的实训,训练学生用英语有条理地组织商务信息,起草规范得体、条理清晰的商务文书,合理利用商务交流中的礼节和技巧,建立有效的商务沟通。

二、课程目标

开设本课程旨在使学生对商务情景中最常见和最常用的各种应用文的用途及格式有一个总的了解,使其不仅能熟悉商务文体的各种惯用英文表达法,而且能广泛增加有关商务知识,并在模拟及实景中运用这些知识进行商务交际。

1.知识目标

(1)了解英文书信的基本格式和不同书信类型的写作特点; (2)掌握英文求职信、应聘信和个人简历的基本格式和主要内容;

(3)掌握英文通知、备忘录、商务报告、会议纪要等常用公务文书的格式和要素; (4)明确商业广告和招聘广告的文体特点;

(1)能够运用商务交际中的礼节和技巧,撰写英语邀请函、感谢信、祝贺信等常见社交类文书 (2)能够根据招聘广告并结合个人实际情况,熟练撰写英语求职信、应聘信、求职追踪信和个人简历等求职类文书

(3)能够规范地起草英语通知、备忘录、商务报告、会议纪要等常用公务文书 (4)能够比较规范地撰写商业广告和招聘广告

3.素质目标

(1)各项目锻炼同学们交流、合作、竞争、分析、总结、演讲等方面的素质。 (2)培养自我学习和自我发展的素质; (3)提高灵活应对实际问题的能力素质;

三、课程设计

1.设计理念

该课程的学习领域完全按照基于工作过程的教学模式展开教学,学习领域分成4个学习情境,以4个实训项目进行教学实施,有助于提高学生的动手能力、自学能力、创新能力以及岗位能力等各项素质。

2.设计思路

本学习领域的学习情境是依据以工作过程为导向,以典型工作任务为基点,讲授商务常用文体的基本知识,包括各类商务书信、常用语句、常用术语及拟写技巧。学习涉及商务、外贸业务各个环节的信函、电子邮件、会议纪要,备忘录,广告、合同等实用文体的写作,让学生基本掌握商务写作知识和格式,最重要的是能够在商业文书中运用恰当得体的交流技能,使商业交际中的书面交流既专业又不失礼仪,最终达到胜任商业贸易文本的写作的目标。
